Community Guidelines

Our Community

At SoberMatch, we’re building a community centred around meaningful connection, respect, wellbeing, and authenticity. These guidelines help create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

Be Respectful

Treat every member with kindness and respect. Discrimination, harassment, bullying, intimidation, or hate speech will not be tolerated.

Be Authentic

Use genuine photos and accurate information. Do not impersonate others or create misleading profiles.

Respect Boundaries

No unwanted advances, repeated messaging, coercive behaviour, or pressure. If someone says no, respect their decision.

Keep Conversations Safe

Do not share illegal content, send sexually explicit content without consent, promote harmful activities, or attempt scams or financial fraud.

Support an Inclusive Community

SoberMatch welcomes people from all backgrounds, identities, beliefs, and experiences. Everyone deserves to feel safe and valued.

Protect Privacy

Do not share another person’s personal information, contact details, screenshots, or images without their consent.

Event Behaviour

At community events, be respectful, follow venue rules, respect personal boundaries, and report concerns to organisers.

Reporting Issues

If you experience or witness inappropriate behaviour, use the reporting tools or contact support@sobermatch.co.uk. Reports are reviewed seriously and confidentially.

Consequences

Violations may result in warnings, content removal, account suspension, or permanent account bans depending on severity.

Our Goal

SoberMatch exists to help people build healthier relationships, meaningful friendships, and genuine connections beyond alcohol culture. Help us create the kind of community you would want to be part of.
