Agreement
By accessing or using SoberMatch, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into agreements, and provide accurate account information.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining account security, keeping information accurate, and all activity occurring under your account. You must not create fake accounts or impersonate others.
3. Community Platform
SoberMatch provides dating opportunities, friendship opportunities, community features, and events and experiences. We do not guarantee matches, relationships, friendships, attendance, or outcomes.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to harass or threaten others, upload offensive content, send spam, share illegal material, misrepresent your identity, circumvent platform safeguards, or use automated bots without permission.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of content you upload. By posting content, you grant SoberMatch a non-exclusive licence to display, host, and distribute that content within the service.
6. Safety
Users are responsible for their own decisions and interactions. SoberMatch does not conduct comprehensive background checks on all users. Always exercise caution when meeting others in person.
7. Events
Participation in events is voluntary. SoberMatch is not liable for injuries, losses, or disputes arising from attendance except where required by law.
8. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, violate community standards, present safety concerns, or engage in fraudulent behaviour.
9. Intellectual Property
The SoberMatch name, branding, content, and platform remain the property of SoberMatch Ltd. Users may not copy, distribute, or reproduce platform materials without permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoberMatch shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
